Takam: the protector

I planned to do an animal for my Shira project, but it went more realistic then i thought)
Takam the island idol and defender of tribes.

When i did the final illustration i was inspired by the Avatar movie and Monster Hunter game.

random ideas of animals, i planned to do an elephant which was my primary animal and for the second i choose triceratops, rhino and mammonth

final design in zbrush after a lot of tries in 2D, i took skin and shields from rhino, base body from mamonth and head from triceratops

color i took from different triceratops and last one from Avatar creatures
